Four Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball players have been awarded Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference postseason honors. Cited for their contributions during the recently completed season were pitchers Travis Pena (Williamsport), Ryan Weller (Fallston, Md.) and Andy Roth (Catasauqua) and outfielder Mike Daciw (Sun Valley). All four are freshmen.
Two Pennsylvania College of Technology fall sports teams are ready to step into Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference tournament action. At 1 p.m. Saturday, the Wildcat men's and women's cross country teams will run at Penn State-Scranton in the EPCC Championships, while, at 11 a.m. Monday, the College's golf team will have three players seeded among the Top 10 at Golden Oakes in Fleetwood.
In a very short time, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer program has come a very long way. Two years ago, the Lady Wildcats operated as a club team with very few players. Last year, in just its first full season, the team went 8-2 and won the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association crown.
With only four returning lettermen, Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team faces a rebuilding season. But, according to coach Andy Richardson, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. "There were only three returning players during the 2000 season and we won the states ... It shows you how talented some of these guys are coming out of strong high school programs.

But entering Saturday's season-opener at the Marywood Invitational, Paulhamus is taking a wait-and-see approach.
Going to college usually means growing up in a hurry. For Mike Stanzione, coach of the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team, it means that and more. The 11th-year coach met with 26 players 22 of whom are freshmen for the first time Monday night. They scrimmaged Tuesday and had three days of workouts in preparation for their first game Saturday.
Pennsylvania College of Technology's list of All-American archers continues to grow as the program reaches new heights. Matt Frye, a junior from Muncy; Harry Bauman, a junior from Lock Haven, and Sarah Douglass, a freshman from West Perry, became the 10th, 11th and 12th Penn College athletes to be so honored following recent U.S. Intercollegiate Archery Championship competition in San Diego.
Five Pennsylvania College of Technology spring sports athletes have received post-season awards. In baseball, pitcher Stan Bair, a graduate of Dover High School, was named to all-star teams in both the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association (which is considered an all-state honor) and Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. Bair posted a 4-1 record on the season.
