More than 160 employers were on Pennsylvania College of Technology's main campus and at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center on Oct. 18, recruiting for nearly 1,900 full-time jobs, part-time positions and internships at the Career Fair. The Gallery at Penn College announced the winners of "Kaleidoscope: The Alumni Exhibit" during an opening reception on Oct. 7. The Kaleidoscope exhibition is a celebration of the talented alumni of Pennsylvania College of Technology and its forerunners, Williamsport Technical Institute and Williamsport Area Community College. It features original artwork by 29 alumni from all three institutions.

Alumni of Pennsylvania College of Technology and its forerunners, Williamsport Area Community College and Williamsport Technical Institute, are returning for a campus homecoming this weekend and sharing their stories as the college counts down to a milestone anniversary. A 2014 centennial will mark the 100th anniversary of adult-education classes on the site of its campus in Williamsport.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of the Madigan Library at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will present "Kaleidoscope," an exhibition that celebrates the many artistic facets of the college's alumni community, from Oct. 7 to Nov. 6.

The Gallery at Penn College will continue its "In Perfect Harmony" concert series on Oct. 9 with the return of alumnus Alfonse Ciaccio, who will present an afternoon of classical guitar music to close Pennsylvania College of Technology's Homecoming Weekend.

Alumnus Daniel J. Clarke, a systems engineer for Cisco Systems, will offer a working-world perspective when he returns to Penn College to meet with students from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Room E140 of the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center. To even the most casual television viewer, it's common knowledge that a familiar quiz show allows its contestants to seek outside assistance when in a jam. One player's answer when faced with the pregame stumper, "Who can I turn to?" was as close as a recent Penn College alumnus.
