Where can you test your skill with a virtual welding machine, tour a “haunted” physics laboratory, see a working sawmill in action, design a 3-D model home, surrender to the smell and taste of student-baked bread, and experience the unpredictable world of a paramedic?

Nineteen students are serving as Presidential Student Ambassadors for the 2016-17 academic year at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Selected for their demonstration of leadership, involvement, academic achievement and campus pride, the student ambassadors promote Penn College to prospective and current students and their families, guests, alumni, business partners and friends of the college.

On Wednesday morning, Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week students participated in a quiz that took them into several buildings and labs on a circuitous path across main campus. The activity allowed campers to explore various locations, as well as interact with admissions representatives and academic school representatives, to learn more about the opportunities available at Penn College.

Students and faculty from Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Business & Hospitality served a "Taste of Technology" at the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C., from April 15-17. From frozen Teddy Grahams to instant ice cream, the students fed guests' curiosity and appetite.

Students' answers to a simple question – "What is your favorite thing about Penn College? – form the basis of a new commercial airing in a variety of television markets around the state.
