Ashley R. Murphy has been named director of admissions at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Murphy comes to Penn College from Oregon State University, where she served as head advisor/director of operations for graduate business programs in the College of Business.
Previously, she worked at NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation, where she was senior director of membership and marketing, as well as director of communications and marketing; New York University, where she served as director and associate director of admissions for the School of Professional Studies; and Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey, where she held the positions of assistant director of admissions, admissions counselor and admissions coordinator.
A Muncy native, Murphy holds a Master of Science in human resource management and development (with a concentration in organizational effectiveness) from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications (with a minor in Spanish) from Penn State.

Strickland, vice president for enrollment management/associate provost. “She brings a broad range of experiences in, and depth of knowledge about, admissions and enrollment management.
