A Lancaster company that hires graduates of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Diesel Technology and Heavy Construction Equipment Technology programs and provides summer and vacation employment opportunities for students has established a scholarship at the College. Distribution of the H.L. Wiker and Sons, Inc. Scholarship will begin this fall.
Last fall, the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team advanced to the semifinals of the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. William D. Davis, a member of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors since its inception in 1989, has announced his resignation from the board, effective March 1. Davis, the board's vice chairman, informed Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour that he wants to devote more time to other endeavors. He retired from the banking industry in 1993.
