State Sen. Gene Yaw, who chairs the Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors, is among the leaders named to The 2023 Energy & Environment Power 100, released Monday by City & State Pennsylvania. He is joined on the list by Dustin K. Droege, who holds two degrees from Penn College and is employed by one of the world's largest investors in renewable power.

Traister recently researched the use of virtual reality simulation in nursing education to help lessen nursing students’ own anxiety in dealing with anxious patients.

Joanna K. Flynn has been named interim vice president for academic affairs and provost at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Flynn will serve in the interim role until June 30, 2024. A search for the position – the highest-ranking academic officer at the college – will commence at the conclusion of the Fall 2023 semester.
