The Financial Aid Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering its resources to help current college students, prospective students and families complete the 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The college is hosting a free FAFSA completion session on its main campus for staff to assist with the online application.

The real-life inspiration for the popular Disney movie “Remember the Titans” will be the featured speaker for this year's observance of the Rev. Martin Luther King's contributions. Herman Boone, the motivational football coach portrayed on screen by Denzel Washington, will address this year's theme – “Community Unity: Moving Forward Together” –  in a free, public appearance at 7 p.m.

Larry B. Leavitt A memorial service will be Saturday for Larry B. Leavitt, an associate professor of automotive technology, who died Thursday, Jan. 4, at the age of 71. A member of the Penn College faculty since 1997, Leavitt was also an adviser to the college's SkillsUSA students. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. at Spitler's, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.
