A Landscape/Nursery Technology student at Pennsylvania College of Technology has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). Lisa A. Beehler, Williamsport, won the Chapel Valley/Reeve Family Scholarship during the recent ?Student Career Days? held March 19-22 at the University of Maryland.

Chef John D. Folse, a worldwide ambassador for Cajun and Creole cooking, will return to Pennsylvania College of Technology to prepare the Distinguished Visiting Chef Series dinner on Saturday, April 9. The dinner, which costs $125 per guest, will begin at 7 p.m. at the College's Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. Net proceeds will be used for annual scholarship awards and endowed scholarship funds.
The Gallery at Penn College on the main campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology will host "cuba . . . on the street," a collection of photographs by Rolfe Ross, from April 1-29. The gallery will offer viewing hours from 6 to 8 p.m. April 1 in conjunction with Williamsport's First Friday event.
