The West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association delivered two substantial gifts for Pennsylvania College of Technology construction students at its holiday banquet this week: donations totaling $4,000 to help defray the costs of competing at January's International Builders' Show in Florida.

Pennsylvania College of Technology student Kathryn L. Hildenberger has been awarded the David Pickelner Memorial Scholarship for 2005-06. Hildenberger, of Kensington, Md., is a junior in the college's electronics engineering technology bachelor-degree major.
Pennsylvania College of Technology student Richard L. Carpenter has been awarded the Bracalente Manufacturing Scholarship for 2005-06. Carpenter, of Ulysses, is pursuing an associate degree in toolmaking technology and has been named to the dean's list at Penn College several times.

Penn College now offers a Web site highlighting the nearly 100 works that comprise the "Art On Campus" initiative. The site provides directories of the oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, quilts and sculpture by artist, by building or via a campus map. In the future, the site also will feature photographs of the pieces amassed during the near-decadelong acquisition of local artists' work.
