Pennsylvania College of Technology student Richard L. Carpenter has been awarded the Bracalente Manufacturing Scholarship for 2005-06.
Carpenter, of Ulysses, is pursuing an associate degree in toolmaking technology and has been named to the dean's list at Penn College several times.
The Bracalente Manufacturing Scholarship is awarded to fourth-semester students in the toolmaking technology or machinist general majors who reside in Pennsylvania and hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Bracalente Manufacturing Co. is a world-class manufacturer of precision-machined parts. The company, founded in 1950 and based in Trumbauersville, produces components for nationally and internationally known companies.
