A Hanover-based general contractor has donated a new concrete mixer to Pennsylvania College of Technology, equipment that enhances the educational experience for students attending classes in the Construction Masonry Building at the northwestern edge of main campus. Penn College News has received word of the death of Sara F. Gifford, a part-time faculty member who taught English Composition to first-year students last semester. Gifford, who was a doctoral candidate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and served as assistant director of international student services at Gettysburg College, died at the scene of a Dec. 22 traffic accident on Route 15 in Adams County.
