A third-year Pennsylvania College of Technology student, working to complete his bachelor's degree in automotive technology management, is one of five students nationwide to receive a $5,000 scholarship from CCC Information Services Inc. Joshua M.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold two commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 13, for the nearly 900 students who have petitioned to graduate at the completion of the Spring 2006 semester. A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. for students from the Schools of Construction and Design Technologies, Integrated Studies, Natural Resources Management, and Transportation Technology.

Despite a late run in its Powder Puff Football game against on-campus opponents, a team of female off-campus students came up short and lost the inaugural battle by a 16-14 score Sunday night. According to a recap by Jeremy Bottorf, Field House/Fitness Center assistant, the game started with the on-campus team driving down field and scoring first for an early 7-0 lead.

Retired Air Force Col. Timothy D. Bair was at the Lumley Aviation Center on April 20 to present results of the Space Shuttle Columbia accident investigation. Bair was a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board as an investigator from February to August 2002.

A West Chester firm that designs and builds mobile drilling rigs has established a scholarship fund at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Schramm, Inc. Scholarship Fund will generate awards for students beginning with the Fall 2006 semester. The fund will provide six awards of $2,500 each, split between the fall and spring semesters.
