An interview with Robert M. "Spyke" Krepshaw, of Elysburg, who holds Penn College degrees in information technology-Web and applications development and computer information technology-data communications and networking, appears in the latest issue of Y-Pa.

An instructional model of a 2001 Acura CL, given to Pennsylvania College of Technology in its partnership with American Honda Motor Co., has been "redonated" for the enrichment of students at the Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School.

Mark D. Noe, a professor of English-composition at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently published a memoir essay in Spitball: The Literary Baseball Magazine. His essay, titled "Pilgrimage," is grounded in "Shoeless Joe" by W.P. Kinsella, a book that became the movie "Field of Dreams." The essay was published in the magazine's "The Memory Game" section.

Career Services provides a variety of sessions, as well as ongoing opportunities for students to interact with employers who are looking to fill position openings. Students who need assistance with resumes and cover letters, co-op and internship searches, or interview skills can stop in during drop-in hours.

Scholarship applications are being accepted for the Fall 2007 semester, notes Pennsylvania College of Technology's director of financial aid, who encourages eligible new and current students to apply online. "Scholarships are a major focus for students attending Penn College," Dennis L. Correll said. "This year, we awarded $700,000 worth of scholarships to more than 600 students.

The Financial Aid Office reminds Penn College students of the "Scholarship Search" Web page devoted to external scholarships availableto them. Dennis L. Correll, financial aid director, has compiled a list of all scholarships for which many students have been fortunate enough to be chosen and issharing it with all students.

While much of the Penn College community dodged puddles and found umbrellas useless against the wind-whipped downpour Friday, Deborah C. On Friday, the Children's Learning Center hosted Parent Appreciation Day, its seasonal celebration of thanks and joy as the holidays approach and the fall semester draws to an end.
