A Penn College culinary arts alumnus is one of four competitors in "Fantasy Fruit Sculptures" the latest Food Network Challenge on the popular cable channel. Dental hygiene students and faculty from Pennsylvania College of Technology teamed with volunteer dental hygienists and dentists to provide free oral screenings, sealants and education for 79 children as part of the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association's statewide "Sealant Saturday" program on Feb. 3.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors will consider approving an oil-and-gas lease with East Resources Inc., of Allegany, N.Y. Without a quorum of directors present at Thursday's meeting, the action must be approved in writing, by unanimous consent, by the full board before taking effect, said E.
