Information Technology Services has issued announcements and reminders for March. Dates to Note All AS/400 screens and services, including the Employee Information System and Student Information System, will be unavailable from 7-9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 4.

In honor of Black History Month, the Multicultural Society (in collaboration with the Student Activities Office) hosted a Gospel Choir Concert and Step Dance show in the ACC Auditorium on Saturday. The event was open to the public and well-attended. The singing was quite uplifting and the dancing was very energizing.

A second-year forest technology student at Pennsylvania College of Technology is in contention for a spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic boxing team. Anthony J. Tettis, of Ridgway, defeated Dorset Barnwell on Feb. 11 to win the heavyweight division of the U.S. Eastern Regional Boxing Championship in Pennsauken, N.J.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology student is among only 10 national recipients of a Clifford H. "Ted" Rees Jr. Scholarship from the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute. Shawn A.
