The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of the college's Madigan Library, is hosting "New Paintings," a collection of works by Judith Kalina, through Oct. 16. An opening reception for the exhibit with a talk by the artist was held Tuesday evening in the gallery, preceded by a lecture in the SASC Presentation Room. Gallery hours are 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 2-8 p.m.
A variety of fun activities entertained attendees of Penn College's Parent and Family Weekend, which attracted more than 400 families. Participants interacted with more than 20 faculty, deans and administration during a dessert reception in The Gallery at Penn College, and more than 300 students and their families enjoyed trolley rides through historic Williamsport on Saturday.

This week (Sept. 22-29), Penn College participates in "The Clothesline Project Bearing Witness to Violence Against Women." This is a campuswide anti-violence campaign sponsored by the Madigan Library and Student Health Services.
