Pennsylvania College of Technology golf and men’s soccer teams stood out last week as the golfers won their own invitational and the men’s soccer team won both of its matches. In openers this week, the golf team steps into action Wednesday, the women’s tennis team takes to the courts on Thursday and the cross-country team races on Saturday.

It was another blockbuster year for Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams as they captured their fifth straight Penn State University Athletic Conference Chancellor’s Cup. The cup is awarded to a member institution with the most accumulated points for the year. Points are awarded based on the finish of each conference team.
As the spring sports season winds down for Pennsylvania College of Technology athletes, archers are honing their skills as they prepare for the U.S. Intercollegiate Archery Championships later this week while the baseball team reflects after completing one of the best seasons in college history.

Despite being eliminated after pushing the Penn State University Athletic Conference baseball championships to an "if" game on Saturday, the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team had its season extended as it has received an at-large bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series. USCAA action begins next Monday at Pullman Park in Butler.
A Sunday doubleheader split with Penn State Brandywine cost the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team the top seed in the Penn State University Athletic Conference playoffs, which are scheduled Thursday through Saturday. The split completed a 5-3 week for the Wildcats, who now will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
