Students and the community are welcome to attend the first financial literacy program at Pennsylvania College of Technology on April 10. The event is being organized and hosted by several student organizations, most in the college’s School of Business & Hospitality.
Career Fairs this week gave Penn College students and alumni invaluable access to more than 180 employers representing nearly 2,100 job and internship opportunities. This semester’s Career Services-sponsored events were from 9 a.m.-noon Monday in the ATHS lobby for health sciences majors; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday in Bardo Gym for all majors; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold its annual Silent Auction on Thursday, March 27, to benefit a student-nurtured scholarship fund that spotlights community involvement and campus leadership. The public is invited to attend the auction, to be held from noon to 5 p.m. in Penn’s Inn on the second floor of Penn College’s Bush Campus Center.
Eight Pennsylvania College of Technology students enrolled in an advanced-level cake decorating course showed off their intricate artistry Thursday, displaying with deserved pride their "Destination Wedding" cakes. Jonathan F. DeRoner, a computer aided product design student from Thurmont, Md., has been chosen as the Student of the Month at Pennsylvania College of Technology. DeRoner, scheduled to graduate in May 2015, is a Resident Assistant in The Village Apartments and is heavily involved in the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity and its volunteer and community work.
More than 40 architecture students from The Pennsylvania State University traveled to Penn College's Construction Masonry Building on Wednesday, an annual visit that acquaints them with the practical upshot of their designs and reinforces the benefits of masonry as a construction medium.
