Members of Penn College's U.S. Green Building Council student chapter enrolled in the four-year building science and sustainable design major are benefiting from a project spearheaded by the Lycoming County Department of Planning & Community Development.

Penn College students are serving with local National Guard units on active-duty assignment to assist in security measures for Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia this weekend. About 25 of our students were chosen for the Sept. 21-29 assignment, as well as a number on standby to be called upon if needed.
