Two teams from Pennsylvania College of Technology placed in the top three recently during a competition against students from seven other hospital and college radiography education programs. Fifteen students volunteered to represent the Penn College Radiography Program's Class of 2012 in a "Technibowl" a quiz competition held at Penn State Milton S.

Students studying radiography at Pennsylvania College of Technology, along with the radiography program faculty and staff and the college's new Medical Imaging Club, will celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week Nov. 6-12.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Health Sciences will host a 5K Walk/Run on Oct. 8 as part of the college's Homecoming festivities. Net proceeds from the race will support the School of Health Sciences Endowed Scholarship Fund, which benefits the school's students. Fundraising efforts for the scholarship are coordinated by School of Health Sciences faculty and staff.

Pennsylvania College of Technology hosted approximately 40 high school students on its campus June 15-16 to learn about a variety of health careers.
