Pennsylvania College of Technology was well-represented at Autodesk University 2007, held Nov. 27-30 in Las Vegas. Autodesk University is the world's largest annual gathering of computer aided design and related professionals, with more than 10,000 working professionals, industry experts and Autodesk executives in attendance.

The December issue of Avionics News features a 2004 Penn College avionics graduate in the "Theory & Practice" column contributed by Thomas D. Inman, associate professor of avionics. Jeremiah C. Gee, assessment coordinator in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Integrated Studies, recently presented a 75-minute session at the 2007 Assessment Institute in Indianapolis.

Recently, Steven K. McCoy, coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Construction and Design Technologies, and Stacey C. Hampton, coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies, participated in the Frederick ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) College Fair held at the Bechtel Corp. in Frederick, Md.

A research article by Jeremiah C. Gee, assessment coordinator in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Integrated Studies, was published in the September/October 2007 issue of American Jails magazine, the official publication of the American Jail Association.

Abdul B. Pathan, professor of economics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented a paper at the 30th annual meeting of the Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology. The paper, "Use of Real World Events to Teach Principles of Economics," will be published in the conference proceedings. The event was held Oct. 25-26 in State College.
