The One College Club, a benefit to Pennsylvania College of Technology employees, alumni and retirees, opens Aug. 17 in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. The club, in a dedicated area at the rear of the restaurant, will feature relaxed dining with its own "gastro-pub" menu, as well as a buffet.

"Babe" Mayer, associate professor of fitness and lifetime sports at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was the go-to speaker for four organizations. Well-known for his motivational skills, Mayer was selected as keynote speaker at the Loyalsock Township High School Girls Basketball Awards Banquet.

Abdul B. Pathan, professor of economics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented a paper at the Pennsylvania Economic Association annual conference. Pathan's paper, titled "Successful Teaching of Economics Principles to Beginning Students," discussed strategies for preparing lectures and for keeping students motivated throughout the lecture.
