The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team learned a tough lesson Wednesday night that coach Andy Richardson hopes will pay dividends one more time this season.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team will host Penn State Hazleton at 6 p.m. Wednesday in an Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference/Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association semifinal match.
On the last day of the regular season Tuesday, the Penn College men's soccer team beat Harrisburg Area Community College while Northampton Community College beat Penn State Hazleton. That put Penn College into the playoff driver's seat as the top seed. The Wildcats will host fourth-seeded Harrisburg at 1 p.m.

But coach Chet Schuman remains optimistic as his team heads into tournament action next week. "It's unfortunate, because we've got a really good group of kids," Schuman said of the washouts.
