The Gallery at Penn College, relocated to the top floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's new Roger and Peggy Madigan Library, will open its first exhibit of the semester as the library opens its doors for the first time on Aug. 14.

About 40 members of the Pennsylvania School Counselors Association Governing Board held a Leadership Development Academy on campus this week. The association conducts a Leadership Development Academy each summer for its board, members of which come from all parts of the commonwealth and collectively represent the profession of school counseling.
Market Street, that is, where it joins other creative entries in a fund-raiser for James V. Brown Library's new children's wing. The college is among the sponsors that bought a life-size fiberglass pig to decorate for the public-art initiative. The pig sports a cap, gown and laptop in recognition of Penn College's technology-based "degrees that work," and was designed and executed by Phillip C.

The New Choices/New Options program, a free career-development workshop at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will offer a new session beginning Sept. 26. The workshop will meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 26 to Oct. 19 on Penn College's main campus in Williamsport.
