Examination of properties of aggregates, Portland cement and bituminous concretes, asphalt binders, steel, and miscellaneous construction materials. Topics include the mechanical and chemical nature of materials, sampling and testing of construction materials, and mix design for Portland cement and bituminous concretes. Spring Only.
