College Algebra & Trigonometry I

Study of pre-calculus algebra and an introduction to trigonometry. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical and trigonometric functions; equations; inequalities; right triangle trigonometry; and sine and cosine laws. Emphasis on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and graphing technology using the language, symbols, and algorithms of algebra. (formerly MTH180)

3 Credits: 2.50 Lecture, 1.50 Lab

MTH006; or
MTH008; or
MTH125; or
MTH108 or Placement by Examination
