Principles of hydraulics and hydrology applicable to civil engineering. Topics include hydrologic cycle, measurement and estimation of precipitation, stormwater runoff calculations, stream flow measurement, erosion and sedimentation control measures, hydraulic structure design including detention basin design, and environmental regulations and permitting.

3 Credits: 2 Lecture, 3 Lab
