Bontz, of Cooperstown, Venango County, is the recipient of the Bill Benjamin Memorial Scholarship. Bontz is a junior seeking a bachelor’s degree in plastics and polymer engineering technology.

The Master Brewers Association of the Americas has recognized Pennsylvania College of Technology’s brewing and fermentation science degree as one of only 12 approved programs – and the only approved program in the U.S. Northeast. Pennsylvania College of Technology has hired Jason K. Bogle as director of construction projects/construction manager. Bogle comes to Penn College from Lobar Inc., Dillsburg, where he had been a construction project manager since 2007. A Penn College alumnus, Bogle earned an associate degree in civil engineering technology in 2006.
Five students from Pennsylvania College of Technology are among 28 nationwide to receive scholarships from a foundation dedicated to manufacturing careers.
