Faculty and students from Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Hospitality will return to the Pennsylvania Farm Show in January to exhibit their culinary expertise in cooking demonstrations to be presented over three days. The five faculty and 10 students will present 19 demonstrations and tasting sessions Jan. 5-7 for the 86th Pennsylvania Farm Show event.

Pennsylvania College of Technology is trying to locate "lost" graduates of the College and its predecessor institutions, Williamsport Area Community College and Williamsport Technical Institute. "We have over 27,000 alumni in our database, with more added every year," said Barbara A. Danko, Penn College's director of alumni relations.

An aircraft propeller valued at $7,000 has been donated to Pennsylvania College of Technology by SCS, Inc., of Warrenton, Va. The Hartzell propeller will be used for instructional purposes on an airplane that's being utilized by the aviation programs in Penn College's School of Transportation Technology.

Thirteen Pennsylvania College of Technology fall-sports athletes were named all-state by the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association, it has been announced. In addition, all 13, along with eight other Wildcat athletes, received all-conference accolades from the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference.

Jennifer McLean began her duties recently as Pennsylvania College of Technology's director of instructional technology and distance learning. McLean, who was raised in the Chicago suburbs, earned bachelor's degrees in English and biology from Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., and a master's degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently hosted an alumni event at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, which counts among its employees a total of 58 people who are graduates of Penn College or its predecessor institutions. The alumni at the hospital represent a span of 26 years at the College (1975-2001).

While many college students enjoyed the final days of their summer break, Pennsylvania College of Technology student Michael S. Sebergandio was taking a crash course in high-tech bridge-building techniques and Japanese culture.
