Pennsylvania College of Technology has canceled all winter sports competition in coordination with a unanimous decision by the North Eastern Athletic Conference Presidents' Council and Board of Athletic Directors. The decision affects men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling (which conducts an independent schedule) at Penn College.

About 100 electrical students per semester are benefiting from seven revamped labs at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Housed in the Electrical Technologies Center, one of the oldest buildings on campus, the labs feature the latest industry-standard equipment and provide individual instructional stations for students enrolled in one of several electrical programs.

Penn College put a new spin on its year-end celebration for 2020, offering a door-decorating competition in lieu of the large-scale wooden greetings that have annually graced the campus mall for decades. An international honor society dedicated to information technology has recognized the excellence of a Pennsylvania College of Technology student. Jacob A. Bamonte, of Milton, is one of eight students nationwide to receive a $1,500 Academic Achievement Award from Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
