The Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors on Thursday approved continuing for the 2006-07 fiscal year the college's voluntary $100,000 contribution to the City of Williamsport. The board's action also continues the provision for $15,000 in tuition credits to city employees.

Dottie M. Mathers, an associate professor of medical/surgical nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has written three workbooks to accompany medical-surgical nursing textbooks. A field trip for students enrolled in an English as a Second Language program got off to an exciting start May 26. The group was traveling on Route 87 toward a hiking trip at World's End State Park when they noticed a man had fallen from a roof. All four of the students hail from Saudi Arabia and are enrolled in preparatory courses before entering the college's pre-paramedic program.
