PCToday continues its regular feature welcoming new full-time and regular part-time Pennsylvania College of Technology employees, as reported by the Human Resources Office. Among the latest additions are three regular part-time Food Services workers, effective Sept.

Aimee Plastow, in her first season as coed tennis coach at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has her sights set high. This past weekend, a dozen School of Hospitality students from Penn College prepared and served food with ingredients found at the Williamsport Growers Market, held downtown on Saturdays through October. The market, generally the students' first eventof the fall semester, provides experience in interacting with local food producers and in preparing dishes that use fresh ingredients.

Donations from six companies have allowed Pennsylvania College of Technology to purchase engineering-related instructional equipment through a grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Kim Antanitis enters her third season as coach of the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team seeking answers. "We definitely have a lot more difficult schedule. It will be a year to find out where we are heading. We've gone from not very hard to extremely difficult, so it will be a good year for evaluation," Antanitis said.

A renewed recycling venture at Penn College enters its second year this fall and re-entry to the Recyclemania competition in the spring. This year's efforts will gain leadership from a student group known as the "Green Team," which exists as a subgroup of the Residence Hall Association and boasts representation from throughout on-campus housing.
