A 1908 Studebaker electric car, owned by the William E. Swigart Jr. Automobile Museum in Huntingdon and restored at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was recognized with an award at Florida's prestigious Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance earlier this month – the first student project ever judged at the renowned show.

According to a National Association of Colleges and Employers survey, employers anticipate hiring 4 percent more graduates from the Class of 2018 than last year. If the recent Career Fair at Pennsylvania College of Technology is an accurate gauge, that estimate is conservative.
Excellent career opportunities for licensed practical nurses exist in area hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, personal-care facilities and human-service organizations. Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Outreach Practical Nursing Program, based in the Wellsboro Area School District, will host an information session for those interested in nursing as a career. The session will be at 5 p.m.
Public Relations and Marketing at Pennsylvania College of Technology was honored recently for two of its marketing efforts. The college received Honorable Mention in two categories in the 11th Annual CUPPIE Awards for Creative Excellence in Marketing and Communications in Education. The competition is sponsored by CUPRAP (College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals).
