The Spring 2015 edition of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Visiting Chef Series will feature Brian McClure, beverage director for The Greenbrier, widely regarded as one of the world’s finest luxury resorts.

"Working Class: 100 Years of Hands-On Education," which chronicles the rich and challenging history of Penn College and its predecessors, can be viewed on the college's YouTube channel. The one-hour documentary – which premiered Jan.

Kendel F. Baier, of Jersey Shore, a senior in the building science and sustainable design: architectural technology concentration, has been chosen as the December/January Student of the Month at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Exemplifying both academics and athletics, Baier maintains a full course load and is a national bowhunter champion on the Penn College archery team.

President Davie Jane Gilmour welcomes employees, retirees, students and community members to the grand finale of the college's Centennial celebration. Afterward, admittedly near-speechless in admiration, she said the documentary reflects a passion for the institution and a responsibility to build upon its legacy.

"Voices" conference open to Penn College community Penn College faculty/staff and students are invited to attend Voices, a networking and professional development conference hosted annually since 2005 by the Penn State Graduate Women in Science. This year's event, themed "On Success and Adversity," will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at The Atherton Hotel in State College.

Ten students graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology North Campus Outreach Practical Nursing Program on Thursday, Dec. 18. The ceremony was held at Wellsboro Area High School with a reception for family and friends afterward. The students selected Amanda Wyble, LPN, a staff nurse at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital and alumna of the program, as speaker for the ceremony.
