A nationally known inspiration to educators of young children will be the sole presenter at the 19th annual conference of the Central Susquehanna Association for the Education of Young Children on Saturday, April 5, at Pennsylvania College of Technology. David L. Evans, professor of biology (anatomy and physiology) at Pennsylvania College of Technology, served as a peer reviewer for the National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science in 2013. Bonners selected as Alumni Sweethearts Joshua A. and Aurora D. (DiRocco) Bonner, who graduated in 2003 with degrees in advertising art, have been selected through Facebook polling as Penn College's 2014 Alumni Sweethearts. The Tunkhannock couple, one of three in the running in the third annual contest, will receive dinner in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on main campus on Saturday, Feb.

William Ma, professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, jointly authored a paper that was published recently in an international mathematics journal, Computational Methods and Function Theory. The paper, titled “Bounded Schwarzian and Two-Point Distortion,” was co-authored with two other mathematicians: Diego Mejia, of Universidad Nacional, Colombia, and C.
