Students in Allen R. Smith’s Radiographic Anatomy & Positioning IV class recently displayed research posters in The Madigan Library. The posters are a culmination of two months of work that builds on the knowledge students gained in class.

This summer, Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer Essential Computed Tomography, a 12-week course for medical imaging professionals who want to pursue an additional credential in CT.

For the second consecutive year, a Pennsylvania College of Technology student has been selected to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists’ Student to Leadership Development Program. Elisabeth Shaffer, of Trout Run, began her three-year term on Jan. 1. The 2022 Phi Theta Kappa honor society inductee is pursuing an associate degree in radiography.

When Pennsylvania College of Technology radiography student Sarah S. Conrath crossed the stage at commencement ceremonies on Aug. 6, she celebrated not only the culmination of her education, but a personal triumph that has deeper meaning for her family – especially her father. Conrath, of Pottsville, began providing care long before she entered a health care major at Penn College.

Pennsylvania College of Technology radiography student Jalen S. Seyler was recently selected to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists’ Student Leadership Development Program. Seyler, of Jersey Shore, is pursuing an associate degree in radiography and a bachelor’s degree in applied health studies. Twenty-two Penn College students who enjoy volunteering their time – including members of student organizations and the Wildcat women’s basketball team – gathered with Shannon L. Skaluba, student organization specialist, in CC Commons on Saturday to write heartfelt messages of gratitude in nearly 450 holiday cards for military personnel. The cards were donated by Sarah R.
