Carolyn Strickland, director of student activities at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was awarded the Outstanding Service Citation by the National Association for Campus Activities at its recent national convention in Cincinnati.

Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Penn College Education Association have agreed to extend their current labor contract through 2006-07. The Penn College Board of Directors approved the extension the second one enacted for an agreement that initially was approved in August 2000. A previous extension was ratified in February 2002.

Dr. D. Robert Cooley, assistant professor of anthropology/environmental science at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will present a program entitled "Applying Ecological Anthropology: Studying the Ecological Knowledge of Commercial Blue Crab Fishermen" on Tuesday, March 2, at the College Library.

Patricia J. Martin, clinical director of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program in the School of Health Sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has been appointed to the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. ACOTE is a 16-member national body that accredits professional and technical levels of occupational therapy education in the United States.
