Fourteen Pennsylvania College of Technology students were presented with Penn College Awards during a banquet at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on Thursday evening. The 14th annual ceremony recognized graduating students who have made outstanding contributions to the college and who have risen above their peers as a result of their leadership.

WEBstock, the Wildcat Events Board's annual rite of spring, was held Friday on the Athletic Field, Musical entertainment from SAFETYSUIT, Hayley and Envy on the Coast provided the backdrop for the sunny celebration of imminent vacation; students also enjoyed free T-shirts, custom street signs, spray-can art, camaraderie, carnival games and much more.

About 325 people filled Penn's Inn this past week for a visit by staff from Clyde Peeling's Reptiland . Under abundant sunshine, the Penn College colony of Sigma Nu held its second annual Spring Car Show fundraiser on campus Saturday,featuring music, food and dozens of vehicles on the BTC parking lot. Proceeds from the fraternity event benefit the Sigma Nu Leadership Initiatives Fund, which sponsors campus leadership events; trophies were awarded in 18 classes of cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Ladies Night Out, described as an "evening of pampering" in support of the inaugural Making Strides Against Cancer walk, will be held in Penn's Inn at 5 p.m. Friday. The evening will bring together about 30 vendors of varied services from hair care to exercise, makeup to travel, leather goods to leisure. There also will be a silent auction and refreshments.
