Students in the Advanced Patisserie Operations class presented their first bake sale of the Fall 2011 semester Friday morning, a menu of "International Delights" that appropriately satisfied the senses. Student managers for the sale, held in Le Jeune Patissier (in the market area of the Carl Building Technologies Center) were Ana-Maria Grigore, Oksana M. Punako and Lauren G. Hammer.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Health Sciences will host a 5K Walk/Run on Oct. 8 as part of the college's Homecoming festivities. Net proceeds from the race will support the School of Health Sciences Endowed Scholarship Fund, which benefits the school's students. Fundraising efforts for the scholarship are coordinated by School of Health Sciences faculty and staff.
The campus community enjoyed a full slate of sports Aug. 30, observing "Opening Day" for fall athletics before celebrating Pennsylvania College of Technology "Pack the Park Night" at Williamsport's historic Bowman Field.
"Animal Instinct," featuring the recent artwork of Cheryl Agulnick Hochberg, formally was opened Tuesday with a heavily attended reception and artist's comments in The Gallery at Penn College. Marked by wit, interactivity and varied media, the exhibit runs through Sept. 28 on the third floor of Madigan Library. The gallery is open 1-4 p.m. Sunday, 2-7 p.m.
