Three degree programs at Pennsylvania College of Technology have been accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.

Funding from the TC Energy Foundation will facilitate orbital welding instruction at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The donation will enhance the welding & metal fabrication curriculum, specifically in the area of orbital welding – an automated, highly efficient process used to securely join tubes, pipes or tube sheeting in pipeline welding.

Among the newer additions to the Pennsylvania College of Technology community as the Fall 2022 semester begins are 19 faculty members, as provided by the Office of People & Culture. Fifteen will begin their instructional duties on Aug. 11; the remainder were added to the roster as noted.
