Following a press conference celebrating a $649,900 grant to Lycoming County that will support Phase 1 of the development of the Susquehanna River Walk Extension, state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn and a number of her colleagues visited Penn College for a glimpse into campus facilities and the innovative spirit of the college’s community of creators.

The final two Pop-up Employer Information Tables for the Fall 2024 semester are set for Dec. 3 and 4. Interested Penn College students should bring their resumes and stop by to learn more about internship and career opportunities with West Pharmaceutical and Voith Hydro Inc.

Victaulic has scheduled a Pop-Up Employer Information Table for Monday, Nov. 18, in the Larry A. Ward Machining Technologies Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The company is recruiting machinist, polymer and automation engineering roles. Interested students should bring their resumes.

Four employers will offer “pop-up” recruiting events Nov. 12 and 13, brought to you by Career Services. The lineup entails TRC and TPS on Tuesday, and Aim Transportation Solutions and Worth & Co. on Wednesday.

A total of 424 students attended 10 Recruitment Days held during Fall 2024. Hosted by Penn College's Career Services, the networking events featured 102 unique employers, with 52 alumni returning to campus to represent their companies.

For Penn College students seeking job or internship opportunities, Career Services has scheduled two Pop-Up Employer Information Tables on campus this week: On Monday, Oct. 28, Letterkenny Army Depot is hosting a table in the Hager Lifelong Education Center lobby (outside of KDR) from 10 am to 2 pm. On Wednesday, Oct. 30, Friends in Action is hosting a table in the Carl Building Technologies Center hallway from 10 am to 2 pm.

The October harvest of internship and job opportunities continues for Pennsylvania College of Technology students. Through the end of the month, five program-specific Recruitment Days are on tap, offering exciting possibilities to discuss internships and full- and part-time jobs.

A. Pickett Construction, Inc. has scheduled a Pop-Up Employer Information Table for Monday, Oct. 21, in the Carl Building Technologies Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The company is recruiting carpenter helpers, carpenters, assistant HVAC technicians, assistant business administrators, assistant project managers and assistant estimators. Interested students should bring their resumes.

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. is setting up an employer information table on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Pennsylvania College of Technology. HRG is recruiting for the following positions: civil staff engineer, civil engineering intern, land development engineer, water and wastewater engineer, transportation/traffic engineer; bridge design engineer and highway engineer.
