Lycoming Engines, a longtime corporate partner of Pennsylvania College of Technology, has made a gift to help the college’s Baja SAE team purchase an enclosed trailer – one that will safely store and transport the club’s off-road racing vehicle and related equipment to prestigious competitions nationwide.

During the past decade, Pennsylvania College of Technology emerged as a top contender in the prestigious Baja SAE endurance race with several top-10 finishes. During the past month, the Penn College team established itself as the best in the world with two victories.

For a decade, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Baja SAE team has placed among the nation’s elite in grueling endurance races. After Baja SAE Tennessee Tech, the team reigns supreme.

Cross-campus collaboration has put Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Baja SAE team in the driver’s seat for this spring’s competitions, featuring top schools from throughout the nation.
