Before starting her final semester this past week, Lauryn A. Stauffer returned to Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School while on holiday break as part of the "Rep Penn College" program coordinated by the Admissions Office. A global manufacturing company’s generosity will enhance the hands-on education of Pennsylvania College of Technology students. Advanced Metallurgical Group recently donated more than $25,000 worth of industrial items – including gears, bearings, solenoids and air control valves – to benefit Penn College’s School of Engineering Technologies.
The funeral will be Friday for Kenneth C. Eck, 60, a longtime member of the machining faculty, who died Jan. 3.
