The number of employers at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s recent Career Fair reflected the strong nationwide employment outlook for the Class of 2016. A school-record 214 companies participated in the recent Career Fair at the college’s main campus and Lumley Aviation Center.

Maria N. Piselli has been named assistant registrar at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Piselli began her full-time employment at the college as a scanning operator/records assistant in the Registrar’s Office, moving to a position as external records assistant in July 2012. “Maria’s experience in our office has prepared her well for this position,” said Heather A. Swimley, registrar.
Pennsylvania College of Technology’s 2016 Alumni Sweethearts, Timothy D. and Whitnie-Rae (Mays) Haldeman, visited campus recently to stay overnight in the Victorian House and dine in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. The Haldemans, of Hanover, won the fifth annual Alumni Sweethearts contest conducted on Alumni Relations’ Facebook page.
An alumnus of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s forerunner is supporting the future of the school with a new scholarship. Paul and Erika Sykes, of Royal Oak, Michigan, have established a scholarship through a bequest in their will. The scholarship will benefit graduates of Williamsport Area High School who enroll at Penn College.
