Pennsylvania College of Technology held three commencement ceremonies May 17-18 for more than 875 students who petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2013 semester. Services will be held Saturday for Fred C. Schaefer Jr., a former full-time faculty member and an alumnus of Penn College's predecessor, who died Wednesday, April 24. A 1977 graduate of Williamsport Area Community College, he retired in January 1995 as an assistant professor of graphic communication in the School of Integrated Studies after more than two decades of teaching.
