ESAB, a leading manufacturer of welding and cutting equipment and consumables, has donated equipment to benefit instruction in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s welding program. ESAB Welding and Cutting Products has been a partner of Penn College for nearly three decades.

The Community Arts Center has been awarded a $2,500 grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield to underwrite the Student Summer Stock production of “The SpongeBob Musical.” Each summer, the Student Summer Stock program offers the region's seventh through 12th grade students an opportunity to participate in production of a Broadway-type musical onstage at the Arts Center's historic Martin Theatre.
