In its inaugural season under a first-time head coach, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s lacrosse team went 4-2 overall and finished second in the conference, begging the question: What will it do for an encore when play begins next Sunday (Feb. 13) hosting Juniata College? “The 2022 season is looking good,” coach Jordan Williams said.
A new Bachelor of Architecture degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology, set to begin accepting students in Fall 2023 (and possibly sooner), will dramatically shorten graduates’ path to professional licensure and markedly broaden their employment opportunities.
Pennsylvania College of Technology and the members of the Penn College Education Association – comprising full-time teaching faculty, librarians and counselors at the college – have agreed on a new contract that will run through the 2026-27 academic year.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors on Thursday approved a new four-year employment agreement with the Penn College Education Association, gave the green light to a new Bachelor of Architecture major and ratified the purchase of a property adjoining main campus. The new PCEA agreement covers the four academic years ending in 2026-27.

Robert Schell Ulrich, who retired in May 1996 from the English faculty at Penn College, died Jan. 31 at the age of 91. In addition to his teaching career at both the high school and postsecondary levels, he earned an associate degree in computer science from Williamsport Area Community College, a predecessor institution.
Chef Shawn L. Hanlin has been named executive chef of Le Jeune Chef Restaurant at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Hanlin, who began his duties Jan. 4, comes to Penn College with 40 years of experience in the culinary field – 12 of them in culinary education.
The Financial Aid Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering its resources to help current and future college students and their families complete the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Colleges and universities require the FAFSA to determine student eligibility for federal and state grants, federal loans, and some scholarships.

As an archer, James R. Fanelli aimed straight. As an aspiring plastics professional, he zigzagged between continents. The Pennsylvania College of Technology alumnus hit “bull’s-eye” with both approaches. One led to a championship, the other to a rewarding career. The 2010 graduate is a senior tooling plastics engineer for Medtronic, a leading global health care technology company.
