Players and sponsor guests watched as the Horseheads, N.Y., pro – who was also on hand for the 2009 tournament – demonstrated his "short game" prior to a luncheon and the noon start of play. Proceeds benefit the foundation’s Golf Classic Endowed Scholarship Fund, from which $46,000 in scholarships will be awarded this year. Since 1990, financial assistance to Penn College students from that fund has topped $486,000.
