Monday, April 23, 2012

Team SchuPa gears up for May 5 benefit run Team SchuPa will run the Rivertown Half Marathon in Danville on May 5 to support the Chester D. Schuman Scholarship, memorializing Penn College's longtime admissions director and golf coach. Some of the team members are pictured with members of the Schuman family, sporting the team T-shirt designed by the Schumans' daughter, Lauren, a 2005 Penn College graduate. Each team member has set a goal to raise $1,000 for the scholarship fund; donations can be made by sending a check to the Penn College Foundation (One College Avenue, Williamsport, PA, 17701-5799) with "Chester D. Schuman Scholarship" written on the memo line. T-shirts are available for $15 by emailing Sarah S. Moore, the Schumans' other daughter, or Kay E. Dunkleberger, coordinator of disability services.
