The Williamsport Hospital Campus of Susquehanna Health System is awarding Fall 2006 scholarships to 21 students at Pennsylvania College of Technology who were born at Williamsport Hospital.
The hospital awards two full-tuition scholarships annually one to a female student and one to a male student enrolled in a School of Health Sciences major at Penn College. The scholarships cover the cost of tuition for one year.
The hospital also awards $500 scholarships to selected applicants enrolled in any academic major at the college.
To be eligible for the full-tuition scholarship, students must have been born at Williamsport Hospital, graduate from high school within 12 months of their application and be entering college for the first time. First preference is given to students with a high school grade-point average of 3.0 or greater and to those with a parent, guardian or other close relative employed full time by Susquehanna Health System.
Applicants for the $500 scholarships must have been born at Williamsport Hospital, be graduating (or have graduated) from high school within 12 months of their application and be entering college for the first time.
The one-year, full-tuition scholarships are being awarded to Laura M. West, Montoursville, a student in the pre-physician assistant bachelor-degree major, and Casey S. Lowmiller, South Williamsport, a student enrolled in the pre-emergency medical services associate-degree major.

Horn, Montgomery, pre-occupational therapy assistant; Chad M. Krape, Williamsport, information technology-information technology security specialist; Nadine R. Lipinski, Muncy, nursing; Chelsea L. Mantle, Jersey Shore, nursing; Cory J. Mesko, Canton, building construction technology; Theodore C. Reynolds III, Muncy, civil engineering technology; Joseph J. Simon, Renovo, business administration-management information systems; Karen E. Sinatra, Williamsport, architectural technology; Nicole L. Snyder, Milton, applied human services; Samantha J. Stevenson, Jersey Shore, pre-nursing; Gary E. Tubach, Forksville, electrical power generation technology; and Kimberly M. Wood, Williamsport, pre-physician assistant.
